DSDD Staff Receive Safeguarding Training

The Diocesan Social and Development Department (DSDD) staff recently participated in a training session on Safeguarding, aimed at strengthening awareness, knowledge, and commitment to creating safe and respectful environments for everyone involved in the organization’s programs and activities.

The training focused on key safeguarding principles, prevention of abuse and exploitation, recognizing safeguarding concerns, appropriate reporting procedures, and the responsibility of staff to protect children, vulnerable adults, and all community members they serve.

The session provided an important opportunity for DSDD staff to reflect on their roles and responsibilities and to strengthen a culture of safety, dignity, accountability, and respect across all DSDD interventions.
