Jubilee Celebration of 25 Years of Priesthood and Distribution of the Diocesan Strategic Plan 2026–2030

The Catholic Diocese of Same joyfully celebrated the Silver Jubilee (25 years) of priestly ministry of Fr. Deogratius and Fr. Lazaro, marking a significant milestone of faithful service, spiritual leadership, and dedication to the Church and the community.

The Jubilee celebration brought together clergy, religious, faithful, and various stakeholders to give thanks to God for the priests’ commitment to pastoral care, evangelization, and community development over the past twenty-five years. The occasion was filled with prayer, thanksgiving, and messages of appreciation recognizing their invaluable contributions to the growth of the Diocese.

During the celebration, the Diocese also marked an important step in its institutional development by distributing the Diocesan Strategic Plan 2026–2030 to 70% of the diocesan institutions. The Strategic Plan provides a shared vision and roadmap for strengthening pastoral services, social development, institutional capacity, and sustainable community transformation across the Diocese.

The distribution of the Strategic Plan underscores the Diocese’s commitment to ensuring that its institutions are aligned with the strategic priorities that will guide implementation over the next five years. The remaining institutions will receive the document as part of the ongoing dissemination process to ensure broad ownership and effective implementation.
