SILC Field Agents Training Held in Muheza, Tanga

Muheza, Tanga – DSDD successfully conducted a training session for Savings and Internal Lending Communities (SILC) Field Agents in Muheza District, Tanga Region. The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of field agents in supporting community savings groups, promoting financial inclusion, and enhancing the sustainability of SILC initiatives.

During the training, participants were equipped with practical skills on group formation, savings and loan management, record keeping, leadership development, and strategies for mentoring SILC groups effectively. The sessions also provided an opportunity for field agents to share experiences, discuss challenges encountered in the field, and identify solutions to improve program implementation.

The training emphasized the important role of field agents in empowering community members to build a culture of saving, access small loans, and improve household livelihoods through collective financial management.
