Tree Nursery Establishment for Cardamom Seeds at Mamba Miamba

Diocese of Same Development Department carried out an activity on the establishment of a tree nursery for cardamom seeds at Mamba Miamba as part of efforts to promote sustainable agriculture and improve household livelihoods within the community.

The activity involved preparing nursery beds, sowing cardamom seeds, and providing guidance on proper nursery management practices to ensure healthy seedling production. Community members and farmers were encouraged to adopt good agricultural practices that support environmental conservation and increase agricultural productivity.

The initiative aims to strengthen climate-resilient farming practices while creating opportunities for income generation through spice production. DSDD continues to support local communities through agricultural empowerment and sustainable development interventions.
