Baseline Survey Conducted for Rural Farmers Integrated Project (RFIP) in Same District
The Diocese of Same Development Department (DSDD) has successfully conducted a baseline survey for the Rural Farmers Integrated Project (RFIP) in Kifula, Mgagao, and Kileo wards in Same District.
The survey aimed to collect essential data on the current socio-economic conditions of small-scale farmers, agricultural practices, access to resources, and key challenges affecting productivity in the targeted communities. This information will serve as a foundation for effective project planning, implementation, and monitoring.
During the exercise, DSDD staff engaged closely with farmers, local leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure inclusive participation and accurate data collection. The survey also provided an opportunity to raise awareness about the RFIP and its intended benefits, including improved farming techniques, enhanced food security, and sustainable livelihoods.
The findings from this baseline survey will guide the development of tailored interventions that respond directly to the needs of farmers in Kifula, Mgagao, and Kileo wards.
DSDD remains committed to empowering rural communities through sustainable agricultural initiatives and looks forward to the positive impact of the RFIP in Same District.
