DSDD is the development arm of the Catholic Diocese of Same, committed to enhancing the lives of communities in Same and Mwanga districts through a range of development programs.

Works to improve healthcare access through medical programs, health education, and maternal and child health initiatives.
Provides support to vulnerable groups, including emergency relief, social welfare services, and poverty reduction initiatives.
Implements projects aimed at providing clean and accessible water to rural communities.
Ensures the protection and safety of children in all aspects of community life.
Focuses on environmental conservation efforts, including tree planting, soil conservation.
